A recent scientific study revealed that just 15 minutes of daily physical activity significantly contributes to extending human lifespan and improving overall health. The study was conducted on a large sample of Riyadh residents and its results were published in a specialized scientific journal.
Researchers confirmed that even simple movement like brisk walking for a quarter hour daily reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. The study showed that people who engaged in this minimum level of physical activity experienced a 15% reduction in early mortality rates compared to others.
The study, which was conducted over a full year with 2,000 volunteers from various age groups in the Saudi capital, measured movement rates using advanced devices to track physical activity.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabiei, one of the study’s principal researchers, noted that “the results are remarkable and show that simple daily movement can make a significant difference in human overall health.”
This study confirms the importance of incorporating physical activity, even in small amounts, into daily routines and encourages adopting a more active lifestyle to improve health and life expectancy.
